Soldering Mechanic
Job Summary
We are seeking a Soldering Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate should know soldering techniques, including surface-mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering, with a strong focus on precision, quality, and efficiency. You will work on assembling, repairing, and troubleshooting electronic components and circuits.
Key Responsibilities
- Soldering Operations: Perform precise soldering tasks, including SMT and through-hole soldering, to assemble or repair electronic components and PCBs.
- Inspection and Quality Control: Conduct visual and functional inspections to ensure solder joints meet industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-610).
- Component Placement: Accurately position and solder components following schematics and technical drawings.
- Rework and Repair: Perform rework, including desoldering and resoldering components, addressing defects or modifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate soldering equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and quality control teams to ensure product standards are met.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, including production logs and defect reports.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, including handling ESD-sensitive components and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
